🗺️What every pin means
Red filled circle — needs help now (they asked for help)
Red outline (ring) — needs help now (we alerted them, they never answered)
Yellow triangle — hurt but stable
Green dot — self-reported safe (hidden by default)
Grey circle with a tick — confirmed rescued (hidden by default)
Hidden by default: green (self-reported safe) and rescued pins
are OFF the map so live concerns stand out. Both are still
counted in the live totals — filters change the map only,
never the numbers. Turn them on with the toggles at the top of
the map.
Extra marks you may see on a pin:
a dashed ring around the shape means the pin is where the
phone was last heard from, not where the person is now.
A small numbered badge means "they said this many people
are here" (never added to any total).

Walking wounded
Longest waiting first — low battery breaks ties
Walking wounded
These people reported minor injuries and
said they can move themselves. They are not a rescue task.
Their number stays on the board above
whether this list is open or shut.
If any of them reports again and says
they are worse, they go straight back on the working board and the
board sounds an alarm.
Not on the working board
These records are not in the list above,
on purpose.
Nothing has been deleted.
Each one says what it is, when it moved,
and who moved it.
Who can use this dashboard
Choose who can sign in, and what they're allowed to do. For example: giving
a colleague access so they can help during an emergency, or removing
someone who has left.
Operator — the coordinator at a desk, watching this map and directing help.
They can look at the map, look someone up by their rescue code when it
comes over the radio, mark someone as found once a team has reached them,
ask people "are you still OK?", and download reports for the team.
They cannot add or remove anyone, and they cannot set off an alert.
Admin — the person who runs the system.
Everything an operator can do, and also: add people to this list or
remove them, set off the earthquake alert, and change the logo and
authority name that appear on reports.

Org logo (shown in header + printed reports) and next-of-kin authority name (shown on printed report footers). Admin-only.
Organisation logo
PNG or SVG. PNG max 200 KB, SVG max 100 KB. Appears in the header alongside Quake Angel and on printed report headers.
Currently:
Authority name (on printed report footers)
The name of the organisation responsible for next-of-kin notification in this jurisdiction (e.g., "Malta Civil Protection Department"). Leave blank to use the generic "the responsible authorities" wording. Only set this when a formal agreement exists — the name will appear on distributable public PDFs.
Nothing in this section is needed during a real incident. Test people, preview
broadcasts, the panic kill and the radius override all live here, away from live operations.
33 test people
Adds 33 clearly-fake people to the map for practice.
Names start with TEST, rescue codes start with Z, and nothing is sent to any real phone.
📱 Registered devices
Every device that will receive a real siren alert if you trigger one — the same
count shown in the trigger confirmation, listed out. Read-only.
